Basically the Half Marathon is open for 7 hours. The Marathon is open for 8 hours, the last three miles of the Marathon and the Half Marathon are the same. The Half starts at 9, and hour after the Full, so 7 hours for the half.
What is the time limit for the half marathon?

I don’t think you are opening the COT page, click on read more from the logo.
Can’t get to the course map. Is there an official website for the City of Trees other than the Bench Mark training page and this one?
Yes, there are links under COURSE DESCRIPTION, for the Half and the Full.
Is there a map of the course of the maraathon and half?
8 hours sounds good. My PR is 5 hours, but I’m trying to qualify for the 50 state club and therefore can’t run full speed since I’m planning another race the month after. I should be able to make it under 8 hours, though
Actually 8 hours for the full marathon time limit. However you have to be mile 12 in 4 hours, or you will be sent to the half marathon finish.
What is the maximum time limiti for the full marathon? 6 hours?
Yes the Half Marathon receives very unique “half” medals that actually go with the other half of the Fit for Life finisher medal. The marathon finishers receive a large home plate shaped medal, with the City Of Trees three panel logo design.
Good evening, this looks like a great race and I just have a question Does everyone recieve a Finisher Medal…
Woo Hoo, Thank you and see you then! The COT is much smaller than Portland, that’s for sure, but the race is the very same size, 26.2.
Well, I’m choosing the City of Trees over Portland this year. I live in the Portland metro area, but have run Portland 4 times and am ready for a change. Your prices are so much better, so thank you. Look forward to seeing your fair city through the eyes of a marathoner.
Don,
The race is 10/10/10 Sunday. The marathon starts at 8am, the half marathon starts at 9am. I’ve added the word “half” to clarify. I don’t see where October 10th is listed as both a Saturday and a Sunday, but I hope you find this clarification suitable for your needs.
Some inconsistencies on this page: the half-marathon should start at 0900; the marathon is listed at both 0800 and 0900. October 10 can’t be both a Saturday and a Sunday. Clarifications, please.
I see Portland changed to the 10th this year. We changed to the 10th so people would be able to travel to Portland and not have to choose between two marathons so close, especially since Portland is 20,000 people, and have a half marathon this year. We can’t compete with losing volunteers and runners that would normally stay in Boise after running in the Portland events. Now it looks like Portland moved after we moved, creating the very same situation we were trying to avoid.
is this race the 3rd of october or the 10th. the marathonguide website says the 3rd. Please check to see if you have aregistration in my name, (Nassau, Bahamas). I had planned to do City of trees on the 3rd and Portland on the 10th. I already registered for Portland. Can u let me know?
