  1. I want to walk the City of Trees my dr. say’s i cant run a marathon but i can fast walk it can i still sign up for the City of Trees

  2. Great race. Good crowd, beautiful scenery, neat course for spectators. Two possible improvements: 1) water stations were not actually at the mile markers. This threw off my refueling (GU), often having to dig out a GU and slam it as I came up on an early station. 2) No station from mile 6 to 9 was tough. Overall, a well-organized race. I had a great run, running the first time ever with my brother. Thanks.

  3. City of Trees Marathon and Half Marathon
If you are going to run a marathon or half marathon in Idaho come to Boise in October. Jeff Ulmer and his crew plus all the volunteers put on a great event for a marathon and half marathon. They have the best weather at this time of the year. The view of the course is beautiful and all the parks and bike path that we ran were great. The course we very easy to run and the water stop were set up right for the event. The start was nice for the marathon starting at 8am and the half at 9am what a great idea for this event. Also for a small event they take care of all your needs. Great finish line and the food was great. Also the beer was a nice touch. Jeff and his crew and the city of Boise did a great job on the safety for all runners and walkers. Thanks Jeff I’ll be back some time again to do this run. Jerry Schaver Director of the 50 & DC Marathon and Half Marathon Group.

  4. Thanks for a great weekend, Jeff. Enthusiastic, helpful volunteers and spectators, challenging course, efficient check-in, excellent weather. Where can we get the USATF course cert # for the 2010 COT?

  5. Yes, we will have maps, and a representative from the Y-Striders Running Club will try to be at the Expo with google earth loaded to also explain the course, and show the route via computer screen.

  6. Given that the course tour-by-bus is cancelled, will you have available at packet pick-up Saturday a map the entrants can take and preview the course on their own?
